Finished the Third Try

And I still failed. The size is way way way way way better but...
there are gaps in my knitting...

and the hat has a nipple...
At this point in the knitting I'm a bit frustrated by the fact that I cannot get this hat to look the way I want it too. When wearing the hat you can hid the fact that it has a weird and pointy top but it's a little more difficult to hide the gaps in the knitting. The gaps, however, are potentially from when I had friends over and my bag of knitting got knocked over. I could have dropped some stitches at one spot in particular but as for the others I have no clue... Oh well...

FINALLY FINISHED THE HAT

I took a bit of a knitting hiatus the second semester but it's just before fall semester starts of my junior year of college and since I have time on my hands I AM KNITTING. I finished the purple hat that I somehow managed to flip and start knitting a different way. Guess what? IT IS STILL TOO FREAKING BIG.

It looks fine sitting on my head right there. It loos like it fits relatively decently. NOPE.

TOO BIG.

The scarf, the teal one, is still in progress and I have a crapload more of yarn to use. One day I will finish it. One day.

What The Heck?

So I finished off that terrible hat and decided to retry and make it. It looks great so far! Except something is confusing me and I'm not sure how I did it but I goofed it up a little bit...

At some point I managed to mess up and start knitting the other way??? Like, the bottom part is the way the top part looks on the inside and vice versa. I managed to do SOMETHING wrong but  it looks kind of cool. I can guarantee that I won't be able to do it again unless I were to mess up. This is the progress I've made on this, too, which is quite a bit for the short time I've been working on it!
